Nature's Bounty
The chirping of birds, the croaking of frogs, a subtle hum of cicadas and the sound of the wind ruffling through the leaves. A lazy, quiet day spent outdoors at the villa is a soul-soothing experience with earth song all around. The Amger team always envisioned the land as being in sync with the local eco- systems, so rather than create an ‘ornamental garden’ as is the norm today, they curated a ‘wildlife garden’ with each species being carefully chosen based on its ability to provide food for the local wildlife or generate large amounts of oxygen. The landscaping project was led by pioneer horticulturist Pheroze Sethna and biodiversity conservationist and wildlife author Pooja Hemdev Lalwani. Amger now hosts more than 115 large trees, and over 2,000 small and medium-sized plants. Birds, butterflies, bees, mammals, reptiles, bugs or humans
Amger is designed to be a home for all.
